Problem Statement.
Introduction
The money and funding is one of the
biggest problems that college students face. According to FMT Reporters (2016),
A total of 18,675 or 74 percent of the 25,632 students interviewed said they
were not entitled to eat. From the data reflected in this study, let us mean
that college students need additional monetary assistance to improve university
life. Then, the data from our questionnaire survey through the internet is
83.8% of college students choose yes to get funding from PTPTN and 89.2% of
them choose yes for the funding is no enough for their spending.
Therefore, college students would work as a part-timer
to earn living expenses. However, according to our survey. The data we
collected shows that 89.2% of them have the problem of finding a part-time job.
Which break down into 50% of college students find part time job from social
website advertisement and 10.8% from social apps such as Whatsapp and
messenger. The data from these two platforms reflects there don’t have a
dedicated platform or mobile apps that help college students find part-time
jobs.
So, we will propose our solution while we
discuss this issue and then use a variety of useful web tools to provide a
solution through this project. As a result, our team after a series of
discussions and design finally created a mobile application to help student
find part-time job. The main function of this mobile application is to provide a
platform of all part-time job around Malaysia for college students or other
users and to help college students get ahead of society and gain social
experience. In contrast to the search for part-time work in social networks,
information updates in mobile applications are more complete and fast.
