University students found that finding a part time job are quite hard and not systematic. For example, someone posted a job vacancy finding a part timer on social website, those who want it need to personal message to the person in charge, sure this is a very effective way to find a part timer, but if the job already taken, others won’t know if the job still available or not, this gave a problem for the person in charge and students who are finding a job. Sometime, maybe the job vacancy is not justified and may cause harm to student itself. However, if there an app, this problem can be solved.

            My suggestion is that having an app to provide a platform just for student or even others to find part time job, and this also can be a platform for all the company that wanted to hired part timer too. This app basically works like Abnb or buying a movie ticket with mobile app, someone posted a job vacancy and someone take the job, it should be as easy as calling a grab driver.

            First, student must sign up and make a simple portfolio containing you profile picture, name, age, race, and current living location, transport and phone number on the app, and it is all set. At home page, user can search for job at search bar, or search job based on state location. Next on the discover page there will have job vacancy posts for user to browse. User that sign up on the job vacancy will have a new post on the applied page. Then the user will be referred to the person in charge, the rest is up to the user with the person in charge, in the profile will have job history added.

            This app would certainly help a lot of the students that want to find part time job. Sure it takes time in order to achieve a high traffic flow app, but this is a start.
